Swelling/ Tumour / Lump Near The Elbow Pressing The Radial Nerve

Fullness or lump or tumour are abnormal growths which may at times become painful. When they are in close proximity to nerves, they may press on the nerve. The pressure may cause the sensitive nerve to become nonfunctional. This may cause weakness or paralysis of the muscles supplied by the affected nerve.

Radial nerve may be affected by lumps in the region of the elbow. The person may have weakness in extending the wrist, fingers and the thumb.

The lump is carefully removed for rapid recovery. The hand surgeon uses magnification and micros dissection for successful surgery without any residual damage.
