A report published in the Times of India said 70 lakh people get burnt in our country every year. The gravity of burn may vary, but most of them have a gory ordeal to share.
The problem is compounded by the fact that the majority of these patients may be surviving on meager financial resources. It adds to their woes when the majority of them may not have access to optimum health care and access to specialists.
